Wrapping up latest on the SNL-inspired shows this week

Studio 60 is staying on the air! I love the dialogue on that show, the political awareness it fosters, even though there's a lot of walking & talking that makes me dizzy sometimes (though there was a shot on last week's episode that was so beautifully executed, it was like bringing a deux ex machina camera into The Globe).

I saw some conservative website today that called Studio 60 anti-Christian. What a bunch of hogwash. I bet they've never really watched the show. I'm a confirmed Christian dudes - not a fundamentalist mind you - but I know anti-Christian when I see it and this certainly is not. Studio 60 can be pretty balanced actually.

Speaking of TV, did anyone notice that Tina Fey left on her wedding band on 30 Rock last night? She plays a single chick dating the beeper king, and there she was with a shiny wedding ring on her left hand (not part of the plot). Maybe I'm a little mad at her for writing in a joke about beeper ads only being on the 7 train. What she tryin to say about the 7?

Anyway I couldn't stay mad for long because Alec Baldwin's joke about waiting for a page from 1983 was toooo funny.
